WhansaMi Posted May 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Hello,We are looking into a 5 day cruise out of Jacksonville on the Fasination to Nassau and Half Moon Cay. What is there to do in Half Moon Cay? HMC is a privately owned island (HAL as principle owner, but since HAL is owned by Carnival, the Carnival ships go there too). There are beach chairs to sit in, and you can rent a clamshell or even a cabana for shade. You can rent snorkling equipment. There are horses on the island, and you can do a ride on the beach and through the water. There is a barbeque going, and, like on the ship, it is free. Most people consider it an extension of the ship, but with sand. :-)
jamscckmc Posted May 31, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Is there any shade or do you recommend renting a clam shell? Is there water, iced tea, lemonade free all day or just with lunch? What did they have to eat and what were the serving hours? Thanks!
