Looking for recommendations for restaurants in Fairbanks by the Westmark. We will not have a car.

We walked to a Thai restaurant not far from Westmark in Fairbanks. Ate there twice. There are really 2 Thai restaurants, one on a parallel street to Westmark north about 3 blocks but a better one on a perpendicular street a couple more blocks. It was less expensive, the food was better & it also had American food if you wanted. It was closed for breakfast on Sunday or we would have eaten there 3 times.

Lookoing back in my journal the restaurant was Sewadtee on Lacy street in Fairbanks.

I ate at an italian restaurant last night that was very good. I cant remember the name but it is right next to the bridgewater hotel on 1st street. Great selection of wines as well. meal entres were all around 20-25$ but very good. Great atmosphere with an outside deck. I loved their Lasagna.
