Recommendations on Seattle hotels - Do any hotels offer a free shuttle from the airport? Do any hotels offer a shuttle to Pier 91? We are looking to stay in the downtown area or the Pioneer Square area. Thanks!!

No, it's not the custom here for downtown hotels to offer a free shuttle to the airport or to the cruise terminals. Some downtown hotels will include pier transfers if you purchase a cruise package however (but you'd have to look at the cost of the package vs the cost of just taking a taxi and booking the hotel at a lower rate).

 

When are you coming in and what's your budget? There are lots of good deals available this summer due to the economy. If you're a fan of Priceline, lots of people have been having luck finding 4 star hotels downtown on Priceline for around $100 or less.

 

The West Coast Depatures forum here on CC is another good source for Seattle hotel recommendations.

I am sure there must be....but last year we just took a cab from the airport (flat rate $30-at least it was last year), and then took a cab from the hotel to the port ( about $10)

 

We did Priceline for our hotel, so we couldn't reallly pick and choose by whom had a shuttle or not.

If you are not too fussy we stayed at the Moore Hotel. 85.00 per night. Two blocks from Pike Street Market and within walking distance of Pier 66. Not much in the line of amenities but it was clean and convenient. Also take the public transit bus from the airport to downtown for 1.75 per person. Will drop you off within a couple of blocks of most of the downtown hotels.
