Anyone ever done this...?

I'm thinking of maybe booking these guys to do the excursion when we're in St. Martin on the Carnival Dream......but wondered if anyone has ever done this before - what your thoughts/feedback would be.

 

Also - WHERE in St. Martin do the ships dock? Dutch side or French side?

The ships dock on the Dutch side of the island (Phillipsburg, St. Maarten). Here's a photo I took from the beach area. You can see the ships off in the distance. We took a water taxi from the beach back to the ship.

The excursion you're thinking about doing sounds like fun. They will pick you up where the cruise ships dock. It's a nice facility. Here's a picture of some of the shops.

When you get off your ship, you'll walk through this check point, then you're in the shopping area, which is where they'll meet you.
