From Rome Airport to Cavalieri Hilton

We sail on the Solstice June 15, but will arrive in Rome on the 13 for a few days to adjust to the time change. Is there a cost efficient way to get to the hotel from the airport? The hotel has a driver for 250 euro. As our children arrive the next day, I would prefer not to spend so much on a driver even before the cruise.:confused:

There are all kinds of private driver's and or use a taxi..it should be about 50 euro for either. The hotel pick-up is way out of line.There is a ton of info on this board re how to get into Rome from FCO either by taxi train or private.Here are some links from some of the most used private..you can email them...there are other's on the board if you do a search.Train would be the cheapest and then grab cab to hotel.

The Hilton is a wonderful hotel, but it's in the middle of nowhere. We spent almost as much on taxies as we spent on dinners.
