Aurora 7th December 2009 Canaries - excursions

Hi.

 

we've not cruised on P&O for a long time and I can't remember when details of excursions are released and how you receive the information.

 

I will be travelling with my Mother who is not fully mobile and who does not do excursions. We have in the past taken a taxi for a short tour of the local area. Mum is quite happy to stay aboard and for me to go off on my own. I have done this on a number of occasions but have sometimes felt 'uncomfortable' being on my own especially in Cairo and St. Petersburg.

 

Is there a meet and mingle board for P&O as there is for Royal Caribbean? If so I thought that it may be a good place to place a message looking for people who like me would like company on excursions. I am looking for P&O organised excursions rather than private ones.

 

We may be taking my niece who is 19 but that is only if she decides on a gap year rather than starting uni in September.

Just back from the Canaries on Oriana, my 2nd Canaries cruise, have doneLanzarote, Tenerife twice, La Palma and Gran Canaria, lisbon, vigo -twice.

Thanks for the reply. I've just been informed that the cruise has been cancelled by P&O as Aurora needs to go into dry dock.

 

So I'm now back on the internet looking for something else
