Driving to Cape Canaveral

We will be driving on our 1st time out of Cape Canaveral next week.

 

We will driving from the Atlanta area to go out on Cape Canaveral.

 

While google tells you to drive south to Orlando then east to Cape

Caneveral. I know from my experiences of cruising out of Miami that

when we drive thur Orlando it can be crazy on Friday late afteroon/evening.

I also know that google doesn't always take in account to local traffic,

construction etc.

 

So for those who live in Florida....

 

Will it be faster to come south to 10, cut over to Jacksonville, FL then south

down to Cape Canaveral?

I would take 10 to the loop around Jax. Not sure of the number Take 95 to the Beachline #528 then here.
