carnival ship excursions/snorkeling

can anyone who recently been on any of the tours that involve snorkeling give a quick review. Where they take you was the coral alive with plenty of fish or did you feel the reef was in bad shape. I hate to book an excursion if they take people to places that are not really worth it. Also has anyone ever had a real calm day snorkeling in Grand Cayman seems to me the water is pretty rough most of the time. I hear Eden rock on your own is good but again if the water is rough how do you get out without crashing into the rock shoreline.

We just got back today and we booked through Captain Marvin's and there was only 15 people on our boat. It was $40 for 3 hours and 2 snorkel stops(coral reef and barrier reef) and stingray city. OMG it was great. Lots of fish. all colors and sizes. Even saw a huge sea turtle.

I would recommend them because we saw sooooooooooooooo many boats that were VERY crowded!

Hope it helps.

Debbie
