frayedend Posted January 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Based on these posts is it safe to assume that if prices drop prior to a cruise I have already paid for, that they will credit me for the new lower price? Thanks
Heidict Posted January 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Will they also refund you the price difference if the cruise has already been paid in full, or only if you still owe on it?
Ontheseas Posted January 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Wow! What a savings! I just noticed ours went UP from what we paid!
SeaTrekkie Posted January 20, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 20, 2005 <<Wow! What a savings! I just noticed ours went UP from what we paid>> Whoa....you mean they can INCREASE the price of an already booked cabin?? First cruise and now I'm a tad nervous about this news. critterchick Posted January 20, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 20, 2005 No, they can't increase the price on a cruise you have already booked. If a cruise is selling well, the prices will go up. For example, we booked a GS on a 10/05 3-day cruise on Brilliance last July. The cruise has sold very well, and today a D-1 would cost more than we're paying for our GS! Supply & demand... mcanuck Posted January 20, 2005 Author #10 Share Posted January 20, 2005 I contacted RCI and they said they guarantee the lowest price up until the day of departure but you have to watch the price and call your T.A or whomever you booked with.. I have been watching the RCI website since October and the prices for rooms other then an inside cabin have gone up in the last month. It pays to keep an eye on the price. JDee Posted January 21, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 21, 2005 Just checked for Splendour rates for 2/26. Inside now is priced approx $500.00 higher than price paid for a GS couple months ago...Strange.... No longer showing any GS or JS as available, but other on line TA's do...Strange..
