jjrabbits Posted June 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2009 We bought 2 IST Proline Snorkel Vests from Seavenger last week. They didn't come with instructions and I have NO CLUE how to put them on! http://seavenger.com/closeout-sale-adult-safety-swimming-sailing-vest-p-165.html I emailed Seavenger and they sent me some written instructions, but when I follow them the Y shaped strap that attaches the sides ends up in my butt crack! :o I'm not heavy- and I'm SHORT- so I know I'm doing something wrong!? Does anyone have one of these vests that can help me? I swear it's missing a hook to attach the crotch strap. Can anyone send me a picture wearing a vest from the back? I've searched snorkel vests for the past 2 days and can't find anything that helps! Thanks! Renee

jjrabbits Posted June 7, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted June 7, 2009 Thanks, but been there...done that... Still no help! The only ones that show the back are ones that have different straps than the ones we bought. Guess I'll call Seavenger and see if they can send me a picture or something. Thanks again! ehfl Posted June 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2009 I think that's pretty much where the strap is supposed to end up. It keeps it from sliding off.
jjrabbits Posted June 22, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted June 22, 2009 I emailed them again and the second reply told me how to put it on without a crotch strap, so i just made my own! I took a hook and buckle from one of the kids' backpacks and it made the crotch strap long enough to fit perfectly! Renee
