lovemovies Posted June 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2009 HI: i think i made a big mistake while choosing my cabin. I booked in the maasdam a category nn just because it is in verandah deck. for more horror is one of the cabins that is side shaped. what do you think? i made a mistake choosing the lower category just for a higher deck? Aussie Gal Posted June 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Welcome to Cruise critic, I see it is your first post. If you booked through a TA, get on to them straight away or if you booked directly with HAL get in touch with them ASAP. Nothing is insurmountable. I am sure you can change it almost immediately though the new cabin will cost you more if you want to upgrade to a verandah. Jennie
lovemovies Posted June 8, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted June 8, 2009 hal site says closed (in the date we are going) in all the cabins. that means that is full or no longer booking in internet?

Don't rely on what you see on HAL's internet site. Make a phone call and talk to your travel agent.
Jemima Posted June 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2009 If you booked one of the specific NN cabins on the veranda deck, that should be fine if you want an inside cabin. The cabins don't look "odd shaped", they are just turned sideways with the door in a different location. I've never been in an NN, but understand they are a little smaller than some of the other inside cabins.
