Camp Carnival

I know the camp's age groupings are basically 5-8 and 9-11 but here is my question: My 8 year old will turn 9 five weeks after our cruise in July. Will they allow him to move 'up' to the 9-11 group so he can be with his brother who is 11?

Thanks for any information you can pass along!:)

They rarely extended the age groups. The few times I've know it to occur is when a birthday happens during the cruise or when the kids clubs aren't very crowded....neither of these are applicable to your situation.

Summer vacations are VERY busy times and there are lots of kids on board....and many families asking your same question....it's easier for the clubs to set the rules and stick to them then to try and sort through exceptions.

When the groups are very small though.....10-12 kids in an age group I've been more likely to see exceptions.....(small groups won't happen on a Carnival ship during the summer)

Have a great trip....the boys may do much better with a little separate time during the day (I know mine do).
