Carnival Valor Port or Starboard side cabin?

Going on Valor in Aug. Currently booked in Cabin 1111(Starboard). Would you recommend changing to Port Side for better views?

We were on port side. The only port that I enjoyed being on port side for was Roatan. The locals were out on the dock singing all day and I enjoyed that.

 

There was nothing else exciting at any other port we stopped at to see from the balcony.

It really doesn't matter. It all depends on how the ship docks. It may pull in or it may back in.
