stephen@stoneyard.co.uk Posted June 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2009 We have booked a Spitzbergen cruise on Boudicca. We did the same cruise in 2007. I must admit I did not like the tea and coffee served from urns mid morning and mid afternoon. I cannot remember if as an alternative they had tea bags and hot water. I am tempted to take my own tea bags but would rather not if they have them. Of course I can always have a tea in my cabin but I quite like the communal coffee and tea breaks. Any ideas on tea bags? Thanks, Stephen.
merecat Posted June 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Hi Stephen , they have hospitality trays in the cabin so you can make your own tea or coffee and last time I was on Boudicca you could make your own drink in the secret garden. However I,m on her next Monday and will let you know when I get back what the current arrangement is.:)

sw18 Posted June 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2009 The espresso/cappuccino is good too @ £1.20 a shot, if you don't like the after dinner coffee......it was always brought promptly at the end of the meal from the Secret Garden bar.
stephen@stoneyard.co.uk Posted June 14, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted June 14, 2009 > Expresso Now that is an idea. Did you order the coffee from your waiter at the end of the meal or from the Somellier when they took the wine order? Thanks, Stephen.
sw18 Posted June 14, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2009 When we turned down the after dinner coffee in the dining room on the first night espresso was offered by our waiter who had the wine waiter bring it to us. Then every evening they would double check if we still wanted it that evening & it appeared just after dessert/cheese.
