Me and my gf are leaving on June 20th on carnival destiny from Miami. It's our first cruise. My questions are:-

What weather should i expect for sea days (6/21 & 6/24)?

Our ports are ocho rios (6/22) and jamaica(6/23) what about weather there?

If I want to get a bottle of champagne in our room on the third night can I order from room service or do i need to do it before?

Thanks for the answers this site is the best. If anyone wants me to take specific pics or information from destiny just write.

hey, welcome to cruise critic - and congrats on your destiny cruise.

weather's really a variable thing, of course, so nobody can say for sure... but check this out...

go to http://www.weather.com/, they have international listings, too - see links below for your dates / stops.

when you arrive in miani on 6/20, there's about a 30% chance of scattered tstorms:

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxdetail/USFL0316?dayNum=5

but that's normal. it's summer in florida...

you're at sea the next day, so i can't really pinpoint that. but here's miami's weather the next day:

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxdetail/USFL0316?dayNum=6

just to clarify - you said ocho rios, then jamaica the next day - i think you're going to ocho rios, jamaica, on the first port call, and grand cayman the next day.

then, in ocho rios on 6/22, 60% chance of showers.

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxdetail/JMXX0005?dayNum=8

in grand cayman the next day, 6/23, 40% chance of few showers.

http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxdetail/CJXX0001?dayNum=9

you can check the miami for return from that first page i posted for miami.

now, don't freak out! :) like i said, weather is very variable, and the islands in particular, have random, short-lived 'showers' - that's why both said that, and not rain. heck, it's the same way in houston, in the summer :D

you can check the bon voyage dept for ordering gifts in advance -

http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/Default.aspx

or you can call them, 1-800-522-7648. you should be able to schedule for delivery the day you want. i don't *think* room service brings champagne - i know they bring beer, but never tried champagne, so i can't comment. i digress to anybody that has.

speaking of which, bon voyage!
