Reef bottom fishing in belize

I was wondering if anyone has done, or has any info on the reef bottom fishing in Belize. Pros and cons appreciated. This is a shore excurision offered through Carnival. Is it worth any info greatly appreciated.

We did this excursion last year. We had a lot of fun but it was HOT!!! even though there were thunderheads all around us and it was overcast in places...They do have a shade canopy but it doesn't cover the whole deck...so if you don't get under it to start with you are in the sun the entire time. The crew was fantastic..they made sure that everyone was drinking water continuosly...I don't drink that much water, but I'll tell you that day I personally downed 5 bottles..LOL..any fish that were caught were kept to give to a local orphanage..I didn't catch anything..DH caught a couple..I'd do it again..I'll try and attach a couple of pics..
