Pools and Bikes on Pearl?

We leave this coming week so nothing like last minute questions! As I'm packing us up, these are the questions from my kids and DH:

 

1. POOL: is it warm enough for swimming on the Pearl to Alaska? (my kids swim when it's 70 out, but we have pool heat)

 

2. BIKES: do the bikes in the fitness center/spin class have clip in pedals on them? DH wants to bring his shoes if they do.

The pools are heated, and I saw several kids swimming and using the waterslide last week. However, the air temperature was usually in the low to mid fifties and most of the time it was pretty breezy, too. Nobody was lingering outside after their swim!

I'm not sure about the spin class bikes, the the fitness center ones don't. They are just designed for folks who use regular sport shoes at a local fitness center/YMCA.

Definitely pack the swimsuits. Even if it's too cold to swim, it's perfect to sit in the hot tub.
