Cozumel Beach Help

DH will be stopping in Cozumel during our August Carnival cruise from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. We aren't planning on doing an excursion. DH collects Hard Rock Cafe shot glasses, so we need to go there, and also want to do some shopping in Cozumel (even though I usually hate island shopping, we will need souvenirs for family). We also would like to spend some time at the beach. I'm very fair skinned, and can usually handle up to 2 hours or so at the beach in the Caribbean.

 

Okay, long intro to a simple question. Given what we want to do in Cozumel, what beach would you recommend going to for a couple of hours? We will probably do the beach first, so that the sun isn't as strong yet. Thanks!

We took a taxi to San Francisco Beach, which is right next to Paradise. There were plenty of chairs/umbrella for free. Had a few drinks, played in the water. Was perfect for us.
