carseat question for Med. cruise

Hi Everyone,

my family & I will be doing a 10-day Med. cruise on the Noordam in less than a month. We have 2 young children travelling with us & we know that in Italy (and other European countries) they must be in a carseat for taxi/train rides. Does anyone know if a carseat is required if we want to use the public buses (not the buses used for ship tours)? Thanks in advance!

On public buses, trains etc. no carseats are required for kids.

I even doubt about the fact if that is required in a cab.

In The Netherlands (and I think also in other european countries) official cabs have an exemption for it.

Only in private cars you need carseats.
