Brad1185 Posted June 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2009 RCI is a joke. Way too many pay restaurants. I too hope they fail and fail miserably. So if in oyur opinion RC is a joke, and you feel so badly about them, what are you even doing on this particular board. Oh yes thats it you got lost on your way to the Carnival or NCL boards, turn left at Moansville and straight on past Whinesalot and you should be back home with the complainers. It's a big ship and a lot if rooms to fill, good luck. With all the cut backs and extra charges you'd be a fool to go. More pay restaurants seems to be the direction cruise lines are going. I was on Celebrity Solstice in February and they had 5 pay restaurants ranging from $5 to $35 pp. There are enough free places to eat on board, I choose to go for those. I check out the menus and prices at all the pay restaurants, then go for the free stuff. Judy

mivama Posted June 23, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2009 It wasn't entirely clear on the web site, but it looks like wine is included with Vini D'Italia which may justify the higher price. Still, probably too pricey for me. I'll probably try the Seafood Shack for lunch since I love seafood and it's a new and interesting offering.
