On our recent Baltic cruise we inquired about Ionnis Pepes. We were told by the Staff Chief Engineer, that Ionnis Pepes has retired. He has had some surgery and is recovering. We have sailed with him several times and he is a delightful person.

Oh.....Thanks a lot, for your answer, and do you know is He doing well now? He´s a great person and it was a pleasure having him as the Chief Engineer of the ship, because as you know that it is a job that it´s not appreciated as it should be because it´s not seen, it´s as hard, or maybe harder as the captain, because they are in charge of the full development of the ship, everything, motors, propellers, engines, ac, electricity, etc, etc....

And now,do you know who is the chief engineer at the constellation? And at Millie? And in both, who are the captains? And hotel directors? Too, much questions, I know, but we are travellin these coming months in both....

On our May 30, 2009 Baltic Cruise on the Constellation the Captain was Nicholas Pagonis and the Chief Engineer was Giorgio Karlis. Kostas Zannikos, Staff Chief Engineer told us that Ionnis Peppes is recuperating and doing well. Maria Nunes the Captain's Club Hostess was delightful. All will be leaving the Constellation before the September 5 transatlantic from Harwich to Bayonne. Maria told us a gentleman will probably be the Captain's Club Host. The Exclusive Card for Elite and Suites passengers was a very nice surprise. Maria told us the card is on a trial basis and did not know if it would be continued.

We were last on the Mille May 2008, so I cannot comment.
