This is my second cruise (first with Carnival) and I want to be like those "seasoned" cruisers and board early to start vacation immediately! I'm leaving from Ft. Lauderdale and I'm ready to get on with it right now!

I hear its the Lido deck to start with and eat and drink. Sounds good to me!!!:)

We were on the Freedom in May. I don't know if you are flying in on the day of sailing or what pier you will sail from but, I would get there as early as possible. We sailed out of pier 19, we live about 10 minutes from the port. We arrived at the port about 10:30 and there was virtually no wait. We were checked in and seated waiting for boarding by 11:15. Having boarding zone 3 we were called at about noon to board and were enjoying our first of many DOD's by 12:30. Check out our travel blog for a short review of our cruise.

Smooth Sailing
