Spirit priority embarkation?

We're sailing on the Spirit from Boston this Friday, 7/3, and I've read here that the embarkation can be a mess. As we are in a suite, we supposedly have "priority embarkation," but I'm wondering if anyone else has done this and knows how one goes about getting that "priority" place in line. Is there a clear separate line for those in suites, or does one have to ask someone or what?

We sailed on 5/29 in owner's suite. Yes, there is a seperate, well marked check-in spot for suite guests. Also, after we dropped off our luggage, we asked an NCL host where we should go and we were brought to front of the security line much to the constenation of a state police officer:p

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks so much! That puts my mind at ease as I've read so many stories of people having no idea where to go at the Massport dock, and I want to get on that ship as quickly as possible.

When you come back let me know how it goes for you. We're leaving on the 17th in an AB penthouse and I'm curious as to how this works.

We recently checked in at Black Falcon and asked them where the VIP line was. They brought us past all of the others checking in, right to the VIP check in lines that only had two others in them. Quick and painless. You do have to fill out a form stating you have not been sick right after you go through security. I had not been to Black Falcon in a couple of years and things have gotten better. They have added more check in counters and you now go thru security downstairs before you check in as opposed to right before you board. You can do to things before you get inside. Give your luggage to a porter and walk right in or stand in line and check your own bags. It's not very well marked as to what to do outside so if you're confused just ask one of the many NCL staff waiting outside to direct you.

I love the Spirit so much more than the Majesty and Dream! I also liked being at the Dockyard. Even though it seems so far out it's a quick ferry to both Hamilton and St Georges. There is a ferry right at the dock as you get off the ship that goes to Hamilton only. The bigger ferry is just a short walk from the ship or you can take the trolley.

We just returned from Boston/Bermuda on the Spirit's June 19th cruise. We were in an AB penthouse suite and are Latitudes members. When we arrived at Black Falcon Pier at about 10:45am, I went to the luggage check in porters and was only behind two families. After this, we went straight through security. There was no one in front of us. There is a form to complete after security about your health. After that, we then walked to the NCL check in area. There were 3 lines - Check in, Latitudes, VIP's. We indicated to the staff we were VIP's and were escorted right into the line where we were next. After we checked in, we were escorted to a special waiting area where we met our Concierge and were offered light snacks. When the ship was ready to board at about 11:45, we were escorted through the large group of people waiting to board. I too read the horror stories at Black Falcon but found it very easy. I hope you do as well. It was a great way to start the trip.

Does anyone know if casino comped guests are included in priority boarding in Boston? When we sailed the Gem from New York in December we were included with the suite guests. Their sign said suites and casino guests.
