Have done it twice. Parking is right next to the ship, and very secure. Here is a link. Parking is about 20.00 per day.http://www.nycruise.com/terminalBKN.html No negatives. Nothing beats sailing past Lady Liberty...Enjoy! :D The Carribean Princess is s great ship!

smeyer418 Posted June 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2009 what is the best way to get to redhook from port authority.is cab a good idea ?or towncar. Any other ideas cab have the directions with you. Its should be about $30 including toll and tip. The cabs will be lined up...you want to go west to 11th avenue and than make left on 11th...straight ahead to west street to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel(toll goes up today to $5.50) right after the toll take the Hamilton Avenue exit make two quick lefts(yes you just did a 180 the pier is behind the tunnel's Brooklyn exit)- follow the signs... I personally hate meeting a private car service at the port authority its always a pain to find it and cabs are always lined up...
