The Friends You Make Cruising and on Cruise Critic

I don't make friends easily...guess, for me, that just comes with being a natural born jerk ;)

 

Hey, I consider you my friend. When my health was at a low point, you are the one who kept my spirits up! You are the one who made me relive Blazing Saddles and made me laugh. Among other of your posts. You are the one I ask for on line...where is he when I need him? You are the greatest in my book!:D

I count the day I stumbled onto CC looking for info on my upcoming cruise as one of the luckiest days of my life.

I have gotten invaluable advice, but more importantly I have made friends who I really value.

I feel especially thankful that I happened to book my cruise the same time as Mooder--she and her sister are fun, wonderful people. I feel very lucky to have enjoyed so much of my cruise with them.:D

I am also thankful that Zone had the courage to put his hometown in his profile. He and his wife are wonderful people whose friendship I already cherish, even though I have only known them a couple of months.

And there are other friends who I have met online or only briefly, who I laugh with and look forward to the day I get to cruise with them.

We met a group of CC's on our cruise to Alaska in 2008. We still keep in contact! Our roll call is alive and well on roll calls. Since 2008!

Well Monte it looks like it might be a 9 day Dawn cruise for us next year - so you just never know who will turn up on what rollcall.

Yes, I've made some good (actually extremely good) friends from CC roll calls.

CubeChick, goodML & I met on the Dawn last year and have exchanged many emails/IM's since and are all booked together again on the Dawn next year. :D--Who knows-maybe we'll get together periodically in the future, I'm certainly not opposed!

 

Well Monte, we're all going to really miss you. While you're sailing on the (ahem) Dawn, I believe the rest of us will be partying on the Sun. You'll have to do one of those "Live From the Dawn" threads so we'll know how your making out. :D:D:D

 

BTW, is Barb going to be with us or you?? ;)
