Noblemount Posted July 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Flight Times are not normally available until about 28 days before you travel.I take it that you are going to the Caribbean.Take off is usually around 9/10 am UK time.Arriving about 3/4pm Local time say in Barbados.Exact details will be sent to you 2/3 weeks before you travel:cool:
capasamari Posted July 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2009 We have had a letter from Cruise Kings today regarding our Christmas cruise on Ventura, 19.12.2009. They have been informed by P&O that we are on a Thomson flight from Birmingham at 09.40, due in at Barbados at 14.35. We return, again with Thomson, leaving Barbados at 16.55 on 02.01.10 and flying overnight to arrive at Birmingham at 05.10 on 03.01.10. All times given are local times. The small print states: "All flight times are approximate and are subject to change...Your tickets will be sent approximately 21 days prior to departure, which will show the confirmed times." Baggage allowance is given as "maximum weight 23kg", which will be hold, we are expecting to also have 7kg cabin bag allowance. Airlines over the last year or so have been reducing the weight for hold baggage (i.e. your suitcase that you check in) and increasing the weight allowance for cabin (carry on) baggage. Your carry-on bag however must (currently) be no larger than 50 x 45 x 20cm. Paul has rung Cruise Kings to ask them to include his golf clubs, which will be carried free of charge. We are just hoping we make it to Barbados this year: last time our plane was diverted and we ended up on Antigua for our first night, and didn't get to the ship until 8pm the following day  !!!
