Amsterdam Airport/Rennaisance Marriott Hotel/ Cruise Pier

....we are trying to find out about how much it will cost to get a taxi from the Amsterdam airport to the Marriott Rennaisance Hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise port????? Maybe we can order a "car" prior to our arrival. We arrive August 6th about 9AM. Appreciate any help you can give us!

I arranged for a taxi from the airport to our hotel and then, two days later, from the hotel to the dock for 59 euros, roughly $82.60. Yours could be slightly different if the angle between the two legs is different, but that should give you a reasonable check on whatever price you're quoted.

In general a cab from the airport to the Renaissance hotel will cost around E. 40,- per ride.,

From the hotel to the cruise-terminal will be around E. 10.- / E. 15.- as there is a minimum fare.

Other option from airport to hotel is the Schiphol shuttle service:

Nice choice of hotel. We stayed there four or five nights in October a couple years ago. We enjoyed it, and are booked there later this year.

 

Good location, near some nice restaurants. I understand that there has been a recent re-modeling project involving the public areas.

Always nice to pick a "winner"! Do you recall how far the hotel is from the cruise port? We haven't been there in a long time ...probably late 90's.

It's close. Probably a taxi ride of 10 minutes or less, depending on traffic and time of day.
