I will be visiting Paradise Beach on Jan 1, 2006 from the Coral Princess with my husband Jim and daughter Jenn. If only is wasn't almost a year away! :(

there were 9 ships in port the day

I am going to be there on a day with 8 ships in port and worried finding any space. Does anyone know how crowded an 8 ship day is earlier than 2pm?

Luckily it was pretty quiet the day we went there. It was our group of 15 and a few small families. We had a great time. Loved the huge shrimp cocktails.

we are going to be there 2-2 from the elation. is there shopping close bye? my gf might want to drag me out into some of the shops?

 

and she looooooves guac so Tom will have to make up a special batch just for her :) cant wait to be on the beach!!!!

We were at PB on Jan.06/05 when there were 9 big ships in that day. We got there about 11:00 and found some good spots. It did fill up after that and certainly kept the waiters busy. After about 2:00 it started to wind down. Had a nice chat with Tom. I knew he would be a good guy since he is a fellow Canadian who used to live in our area.

 

We had our 2 boys with us (13 & 15). They had a great day playing on the iceberg. Well worth the 5 bucks they want for the water toys.

 

Cab cost us $15 each way. Good food and drinks. All-in-all a great way to spend the day.
