3kids1dog Posted July 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2009 Has anyone ever done Captain Marvin's with a smaller child? We have 3 kids (9, 11 and 3) and are thinking of doing Captain Marvin's..Grandma might come along too and she's not a huge fan of snorkeling, could Grandma and 3 year old just hang out on the boat? Could we put a snorkel vest on the 3 year old and bring her along? Any comments?
suezyq50 Posted July 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2009 We took our 4 yo. (There were 6 of us. ) At first she stayed on the boat with her mom and watched us. When she saw how much fun we were having, she got into the water with her vest on. She even ended up "kissing" the sting ray. She loved it. Captain Marvin's crew are good with kids. There were other younger kids on the boat, too.
jean-lynd Posted July 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2009 We also did Captain Marvins. My 3 year old grandson and 87 year old father did not end up getting in the water because the day we went was very choppy but they still had a wonderful time. The boat ride itself is wonderful and they will bring stingrays and other sealife up to the boat for those that do not get in the water. I hope this helps! Enjoy!
