Marylandteachergirl Posted July 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Has anyone done the sea-trek helmet dive/walk in San Juan? I know it's right behind the Normandie hotel and has been open a few months. Just looking for comments from anyone who has done it - Thanks! 1 week until we're on the AOS! RayInPR Posted July 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2009 I have. It's as easy as it's made out to be. And fun! Do a Google search for "helmet diving old san juan" and you're likely to find a review.
topspot Posted July 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Did this in Grand Cayman. Your hair doesn't get wet, and you can wear your glasses (if your as blind as I am ). Our DD did it with us, she was 11 at the time also had a blast. We walked along the ocean floor. A guide in the helmet, and one in SCUBA gear came with the group of 8 helmet divers to make sure we were all ok and point things out to us.
