kjh25 Posted July 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Do you happen to know the hours of operation of the Digs, Aquarium, slides, rides and waterparks of Atlantis? We will be there September the 2nd, and I'm trying to schedule our day to get the most out of the 23 hours in port. Thanks in advance.
scubagirrl Posted July 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Do you happen to know the hours of operation of the Digs, Aquarium, slides, rides and waterparks of Atlantis? We will be there September the 2nd, and I'm trying to schedule our day to get the most out of the 23 hours in port. Thanks in advance. Digs (Aquarium) tours start at 9am ($35pp) .. before that.. it's possible to just walk around the area. The last tour is at 5pm. After that, once the security leaves, you're free to walk around unescorted and without paying. The same goes for the Predator Lagoons (tubes) .. near the coral towers. Pools open at 9am, and if they stay on summer schedule, will remain open until around 7pm. Although they start stacking chairs around 6. If they move to fall hours.. then they close at 5pm. My guess would be that they will still be on summer hours. Beaches close when the pools close. Slides and rapids rivers (waterpark) open at 10am and close at 5:30/6pm in the summer, and 4:30/5pm in the fall/winter months. Since last years occupancy during this time was under 30 %, there's no telling what they will do to save $$$. Last season they closed the Lazy River, and some of the small sealife lagoons. No word yet on what the fall season holds.
