Shore excursion help - Puerto Caldera

I will be on a cruise that stops in Puerta Caldera, I have never been to Costa Rica, and would like to see as much as possible in my short visit there.

I am current debating between two HAL tours, the first is the Canopy TOur and Aerial Tram here's the discription:

The Atlantic Rain Forest Aerial Tram and the Canopy Tour provide the best opportunity to explore the Caribbean Rain Forest from the ground up to the canopy and down again. The Costa Rican Ministry of Environment and Energy gave the Ecological Flag award to this eco-tourism destination, declaring it of public and national interest. You may first start your adventure at the Canopy experience receiving top quality gear and secure harnesses to effortlessly traverse the canopy from platform to platform. You will soar through the treetops of giant native trees just like monkeys as you literally fly across the magnificent Molinete River, several times. Stupendous rewards of breathtaking views and occasional wildlife sightings add to your exhilarating adventure during this unique bird’s eye view experience. After the canopy ride enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch at the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Restaurant before taking to the Aerial Tram. Depending on your arrival time, you may first attend an introductory video presentation of the Atlantic Rain Forest or join an expert naturalist guide for the exhilarating aerial tram ride which takes approximately 80 minutes in comfortable gondolas designed for 6 passengers and a bilingual naturalist guide. You will safely glide from the rainforest floor up to the treetops to observe majestic towering trees, lianas, giant ferns, hanging gardens and occasional wildlife.

The second tour is the Costa Rica's favourites tour, here's the discription:-

Enjoy the most exciting adventure in the natural wonderland of Costa Rica. Board the Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram to literally fly through the rainforest canopy and take an exhilarating jungle cruise on the Tarcoles River. The Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram is the only tour that provides a unique exploration of the canopy in the Transitional Tropical Rain Forest on Costa Rica's mid-Pacific coastline. Dry upland forest meets humid coastal rain forest with unique species colonizing the treetops and the canopy in this 222-acre (90-hectare) eco-tourism park, dedicated to conservation. Embark on a gondola designed for 8 passengers and a bilingual naturalist guide to safely glide through a living backdrop of giant trees, hanging gardens, waterfalls and lush green landscapes. Panoramic ocean views and common sightings of wildlife that thrive in the canopy will introduce you to this unique transitional forest. Your allinclusive rainforest experience includes a guided hike through trails deep into the forest. A visit to the medicinal plant Garden and Heliconias Gallery will complement a fascinating winding tour past a snake exhibit set in a tropical rainforest. After your tram ride, enjoy a Costa Rican lunch at the park in a lush natural setting. You can also shop at the Rain Forest Souvenir Shop before transferring to a river boat on Tarcoles for a jungle river journey. Upon arrival at the Visitor Center you will board comfortable roof covered open boats to explore the world famous Tarcoles River. This tour will provide a great understanding of the life and death of the mangroves and swamps that constitute one of the most important ecosystems in Costa Rica. Noted for its mangrove forests the Tarcoles River is a wonderful and crucial habitat for hundreds of species and a wide variety of sea and shore birds as well as colonies of the largest crocodiles in Central America. During the tour, our naturalist guide will help you identify a great variety of birds and wildlife. This habitat is also vital for the preservation of the endangered Scarlet Macaw.

If anybody has been on either of these tours culd you please share your experiences. Any recommendations/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.
