Rum Factory Tour

Is the "Rum Factory" located close to the main port shopping area? Is it walking distance from the tender? Or does one have to drive to it?

 

Exactly where is the Rum Factory located?

We stopped at the Tortuga Rum place and it's not actually a factory at all, at least not where we stopped. It was a store near the Turtle farm. They have all flavors of rum cake and rums and rum liquor -- and you can sample them all. They have them all for sale, along with gift packs and other non-rum souvenirs.

But unless there's another one, don't expect a factory tour, just some samples and a small store for shopping. We did notice that the cake gift packs were a little cheaper in the store than on the ship (Enchantment) and they had more varieties and sizes. We got one with mini rum bottles and a sampler set of the flavored rum.
