HAL ipod art tour

Does the Zaandam have an ipod art tour? If so, do you have to download the tour to your ipod from itunes? Does the Zaandam have ipods, with the tour info, available for use? Is there a charge?

Yes there is an art tour for the Zaandam. You can download it from itunes if you do a search for Zaandam, it might be under podcasts; the Holland America site, when you click on the ships; or get it onboard and check out an ipod nano from the ships library.

The ipods should be available from the library at no charge. However, on our Eurodam cruise, the librarian was new to the ship and didn't know where the ipods had been stored.

 

Upon returning I emailed HAL, and received a letter of apology, along with a complimentary bottle of wine for a future cruise.

 

If you want to make sure, it would probably be better to download the tour from itunes or the HAL website. I don't think there are a large number of requests for the art tour as the librarian didn't seem to have a clue.
