Air Conditioning Controls on Triumph

DOes anyone have any information or knowledge as to how to control the temperature? I'm hearing the contrls can be hidden in certain staterooms.

There's a lever on the outside of the circle vent that you move to get more or less air. We had two of these vents in 7425.

Yes that was one of the best pieces of information I got from these boards. It was very cold in the room and I was very thankful that I knew how to turn down the air conditioning.

NOthing hidden at all, as Ahoys picture shows. I've cruise 5 times on Triumph and never had trouble looking up.:D:D

and how is the vertically challenged person suppose to reach that?? I guess I will be at the mercy of dh who likes to like in a freeezer!!

No problem! Stand on the little chair/stool located by your mirror. The ceilings aren't that high.;)

It's not high up but it was a little difficult to move. Had to push quite hard. Might just be in our cabin but just in case.

I was on an Eastern Carib sailing in Oct 2007 and the Triumph was FREEZING! Out of 11 cruises, 9 of them Carnival cruises, the Triumph was the coldest ship of all. My friend and I took our travel blankets to the show lounge, and also took socks so we could sit in the theater without shivering.

 

So be sure to bring a jacket along, just in case.

We've had a few warm staterooms on the Fantasy - I am glad to hear the Triumph is cooler - I like it COLD at night!
