Snorkeling and Folkstone

we have been to folkstone twice, once by taxi and once by bus. Use the bus it is much cheaper and just as convenient. The snorkeling at the beach is not so great although you can snorkel right off the beach. The reef is not so great. When you get to the beach arrange with a local to take you out by boat to two nice snorkling spots plus they will take you to the turtle spot so you can snorkel with the turtles. There will be a local on the beach selling this service. I think I paid about fifteen dollars for this service. Don't hestitate to negotiate. My wife stayed on the beach. she rented a lounge for about five dollars. The place is safe and convenient.
