Monarch vs. Majesty of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We went to Italy last year and on the way back--Continental Airlines lost all of our luggage, and so we were given many things in return including a $1000 airfare credit. Since we only have about a 4 day timeframe of time off, we decided--why not take a 3 day cruise on RCCL?

Between Majesty and Monarch of the Seas--which is better? I'm aware that they are the same class of ship, but just curious as to your opinions. :D

Thank you

Also considering Norwegian Sky

Of the two, I've only been on the Majesty. Here are the differences I know of:

Majesty: Miami

Monarch: Pt. Canaveral

Majesty: If you're talking the 4-night cruise, they do Coco Cay, Nassau and Key West.

Monarch: Instead of Key West, has a day at sea.

If it's the 3-night versions, then they both do Coco and Nassau.

Majesty: Refurbished much more recently than Monarch.

Majesty: Has Johnny Rockets

Monarch: No Johnny. Has Jade Sushi instead.

That's all I'm aware of in terms of differences! :)
