Hi does anyone know if you need a passport to leave the ship in Barbados? thanks..

I know God won't give me anything I can't handle.I just wish he didn't trust me so much =  The sun in one hand - the moon in the other* Live by the sun and Love by the moon. Chocolate makes my clothes shrink!!

Go to the ports of call message board...then go to Barbados...there is a message from the website host, Walt, that states Barbados now requires US passports for ALL US citizens now.

WAs just there on a cruise (AOS) as long as you are not staying on the island you DO NOT need a passport to get on and off the ship there.

Barbados has issued an exception for cruise ship passengers. If you are a U.S. citizen and arriving via airplane you need one, but one day only cruise ships have been granted the exception. It will change in the future though.
