Sailing out of NY on the Triumph - NY waterways question

We are cruising out of Manhattan July 23rd. We would like to take the NY Waterways ferry across the Hudson. Will we be able to take our luggage on to the ferry bus or will we need to catch a taxi? Any information you can give would be great. It is a little to far for me to walk.

Yes you can -

If you do not have too much luggage you can walk .. Isnt the pier for NYW around 39th and 12th? you need to go up to 55th

 

If not. .the bus will take you uptown..
