We are going to be on the Triumph tomorrow and i really want to take some pics of us leaving.....Where would you suggest is the best place on the ship to get a pic of the statue of liberty and the Verrizano (sp?) bridge?

I would go to the front of the ship on the sixth deck and find the secret doors. Can see both sides of the ship as she sails down the river.

You will be able to see a lot from the upper levels on the ship...I have taken cruises out of NY a few times....and the next one is tomorrow on the Triumph - like you!!:D

Hope y'all have a great cruise! We'll be following you out of NY harbor on Sunday on Miracle. If you've never done this before, Manhattan will be to your left and the Statue of Liberty will be to your right. For the bridge, I would recommend going forward on the highest deck - you'd swear the ship isn't going to make it under!

 

You might also consider getting up early when you return. New York Harbor in the morning is really pretty, and you can get some nice photos of the statue if the sun is up (the sun will be behind you - when you're sailing out tomorrow, the sun will be behind the statue, which can make for some tough photos).

Other poster give great advice. But, get on port side as soon as you pull out and you can get a great picture of the carrier, just as if you are landing on it. Top deck is best for city and Statue of Liberty. Highest deck for bridge.

 

But, really tons of photo ops.
