Hello- Just booked through Globus Tours a 12 day river cruise from Prague to Budapest. This will be our first river cruise. Have done many ocean cruises in the Med and Carribean. I have heard so much about Prague that I cann't wait to see it.

Sorry in being late to answer your reply. We are George and Nancy Santry of Quincy Ma. (66&63 repsct.) and both retired. We have sailed "deep sea" numerous times but never a river cruise. This will be all new to us. Are you on a GLOBUS package or on your own? george s;)

We are also on the Globus package booked through Vacations To Go. So we will be arriving in Prague on Sept. 24th. We are Ellen and MaryLynn of Santa Fe, NM (62 and 58 - retired) and Tom (retired) and Bill (still working) are from Alexandria, Va. The 4 of us cruised on the Victoria Rose in China in March 2008 and are looking forward to a bit more of an upscale experience.

Our departure dates are the same. We go BA Bos-london-Prague on the 24th.

 

I've cheked the internet for weather conditions in Prague (62F). Do you have anymore insight on what type of conditions to expect or what type of clothes to bring?

I, too, checked the weather and it seems it could be pretty cool during our visit and also we may get a bit of rain. If you have not checked it out yet, you can do all kinds of inquiries on http://www.weatherunderground.com. You can check cities all over the world and it allows you to check what has happened during a particular timeframe over the last several years.

Hi Ellen and MaryLynn,

I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. It was wonderful to have met you.

We had such a great time. I loved Budapest.
