danim Posted July 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I need a favor. A few years back my husband decided to start collecting a $1.00 chip from each of the ships that we sailed. He is a craps player and would save a $1.00 chip from the cruise. However he didn't start this until after we had been crusing for a while. So the RCCL ship that he still needs them from is Navigator of the Seas. If anyone would be willing to pick one up for us we would be happy to pay for it along with shipping. (Please note: You can't just walk into the casino and ask to buy a chip, you kind of have to be playing one of the games.) Thank you all in advance! Danielle Danielle- I collect these too and have one from the Navigator that I can send you. We're going back on the Navigator (back to back) in December, so I can replace it in my collection then. If you want to give me your e-mail address, I can contact you off the board to get your address so I can send the chip to you. -Jacki

Danielle I was doing the same thing for someone on CC who asked. I walked in, went to the cashiers cage and told them I wanted a $5.00 chip for a collector I was buying it for. She went through them and found me the best looking one. ;)

Shiver Posted July 22, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 22, 2009 That sounded like a cool thing to collect. I guess the $1 chips are different from ship to ship? Do they have the ships name written on them? I see that you now have someone helping you out allready. But if it gets lost in the mail or anything I'll help you out, I will be going on the Navigator in mid September. danim Posted July 31, 2009 Author #10 Share Posted July 31, 2009 Thank you to everyone who said they would help out. I simply love the boards on Cruise Critic...everyone is so helpful. It is a neat idea to collect something from the ships. They each have the ship name on it and a ship photo. So if you are looking for a inexpensive way to remember your cruise...this is easy. Thanks to everyone...Happy Cruising!!! Danielle
