Balcony Dividers

Anyone sailed on Freedom lately and had success with having the divider opened?

Yes....there were open dividers on Freedom last week.

Open it yourself. Its a triangle shaped mechanism that is seen a lot on subways trains and airport people movers. A skinny pair of vise grips should do the job.

Sorry I left out the ship, Mariner

 

We were on the August 23 sailing on the Mariner with 3 balcony cabins and the Captain said no:( Plus it was on of our calmest sailings to date...........

Probably not. The newest (Freedom Class) are able to be opened....

If you could open the dividers, you truly lose any privacy you had, since your neighbor is able to see into your cabin from the balcony. Keeping drapes closed all the time sort of defeats the whole purpose of the balcony!

 

Some of us cruise with friends and family and enjoy sharing a big balcony;) We just go inside for privacy.........
