suscruise Posted July 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2009 My son will be 11 when we cruise next month. He will turn 12 a few months later. The activities for 9-11 year olds seem a little babyish for him. (He enters middle school the week after we return.) Will it be possible for him to join the 12-14 yr. group? What kind of flexibility does Carnival allow with the age groups?
caribbean dreams Posted July 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2009 It will all depend on the CC staff, sometimes there is no problem & sometimes it's a no. Part of it will depend on how many kids are in each age group and the ages of the kids, for instance, if most of the kids in the 12-14 group are older, the answer most likely will be no. All you can do is ask.
cyntil8ing Posted July 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2009 With our daughter, we initially got a no, but after they got to know her for a few days, we asked again and got a yes.
suscruise Posted July 24, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Thanks for answering my question. If they say no, he can always hang out with us.
