Buying shoes on the net???

Did anyone ever buy shoes on the net? Were you happy with them? I saw a pair on shoes.com. I wear the brand that they have and their price is less money than I have paid. If you bought them from this site were you happy? How about Zappos they have the same shoes. Thanks. Haven't been on here for months - I'm baaaaack.

I have bought from Zappos.com and have found them to be great shoes at sometimes great prices. They have lots of variety on one website. I have had great luck at SteveMadden.com. They have some great sales there and have always shipped very quickly.

I'd stick to buying from a website that has a very easy and hassle free return policy. Also, stick to buying brands that you know fit you well or you'll wind up with too many returns, imo.

I buy from Zappos all the time---they have free shipping and free returns. You can't beat their customer service. I have very long skinny feet (12AA):eek: and they have a tremendous selection.

Zappos is excellent! Shipment arrives almost the next day! Very easy to return...yet never had to...I find the customer comments on the shoes-of-interest very helpful.

Shoes, like jeans, are so hard to fit properly. Even the same shoe, same brand, size etc... I've had to send back. I'm so picky about shoes, they have to fit right and not make noises. I think, though, I have a hard to fit foot, size 10 wide, high arch, hate my toes squished. I also don't like man-made materials, give me soft leather. I need to touch, smell, feel before purchasing shoes.

I really like Nordstrom.com for shoes, great selection. Zappo's is good but have found that their prices are sometimes higher than others sites to make up for free shipping. killerdana.com has a great selection of beach sandals. I wear a size 10, not too wide or too narrow and not too high of an arch so I do extremely well. I rarely have to return shoes.

I have also bought from shoebuy.com. They have a large selection and also have free shipping and free return. They also usually give you a 10%discount on your first purchase. Hope this helps.

Zappos is my favorite! Have ordered a lot from them...can't beat their free shipping and free returns. And like someone else said - it arrives almost the next day...so fast!

I love Nordstrom.com too (especially since I live near one so returns are a snap for me). If you check, be sure to look at the sale page while there, often have great deals on shoes (and formal clothes too)

I went to Payless.com to find the style I wanted. Then I called my local branch to find which branch carried that style. I went there, tried them on and bought them on the spot. If I don't like them, I can return them to my local store. Best of both worlds.
