Pre-cruise Car Rental

Good morning all, we are booked on the Oasis for Saturday, March 20, 2010. We will fly in the Tuesday before for a mini-break prior to the cruise. We want to get a rental car at the Fort Lauderdale airport when we arrive. First of all, who do you recommend renting from, and what will be the best and most efficient way to return the car on Saturday and get to the cruise ship? There will be four of us and we will be staying in a timeshare in Weston, Florida (which, I believe, is about 20 miles from the cruise port).

we have previously rented from budget on 17th st. It is cheaper than renting directly from the airport. We returned our car to that location and they had a shuttle to take us to the port.
