Underwater Disposable Cameras

Recommended Posts

It doesn't matter what kind you get, they will only produce medium quality underwater pictures at best. You're better off getting the one without a flash, as the puny little flash included doesn't make a lick of difference underwater. If you want good underwater pictures, you're going to have to bite the bullet and get an underwater camera with a real strobe flash, or get a waterproof housing for a camera you alread own.

We used Fuji and had them developed on the ship and they were excellent. A very sunny day is imperative for underwater.

I used Fuji on our trip last year - took it down for our first time ever scuba diving! I got great shots both there and when we were snorkeling. I had the CD done with my processing and played around with the color myself on my computer. I printed the pictures on my HP DeskJet and have them posted on the bulletin board in my office at work. Everyone comments on the quality of the pictures. icon_cool.gif

We went to Tahiti and used both Fuji and Kodak underwater. We developed them at Sam's Club and the fuji had a better quality . Click on the following link and you'll see what I meanBora Bora - Aqua Safari

I've used Kodak and Fujii. Fujii is the best. Keep in mind that things look bigger than they are when looking through the swim mask. Get as close as you can before you take the picture. They will turn out alot better with less blue tone. icon_biggrin.gif

I used Kodak. Buy it at Walmart or someplace like that before you go. They are about $7 at Walmart and $20 on the ship and in the ports.

It took awesome pictures underwater while snorkeling. Needs to be a sunny day though, or it won't come out good. Don't take the pictures if it's cloudy.

Go to J&R and Buy this Vivitar for only $17.99, you can use the camera in or out of the housing, good to 10ft, has a flash, and you can load it many times with new film...
