What not to miss?

I have all kinds of excursions planned for my day here, I will end up in San Miguel.

 

What would you say is a can't miss place to stop by?

 

What souvenirs would you say I should pick up?

 

Bottle of authentic Mexican tequila?

 

I just want to make sure if there is a place to go I want to stop by for a photo op or nice (though cheap) gift.

The vanilla from Mexico, coumarin free vanilla, is an awesome cheap gift. San Miguel has lotsa shopping. Chankanab is wonderful, so is Nachi Cocum and Paradise Beach....there is just lots of great stuff there!

You can't throw a rock and NOT hit a bottle of authentic Mexican tequila in Cozumel. :p Los Cinco Soles, on Melgar is recommended by many as a place to get your tequila.
