Sam & Soph Posted July 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2009 My dh & I are booked for Feb 6th, 2010. He's wondering what they might do for Superbowl? We didn't notice a big screen as on Princess. Any RC people who have been on a ship during Superbowl week have an answer? Also, I'm guessing it's a formal night.
Lorey2007 Posted July 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Hi Sam & Soph we are also on this cruise along with about 100+ others from Cruise Critic boards. I have asked the same question about Super Bowl and I am told they will show the Super Bowl in several different places on the ship serving some football type foods. I see we have a sea day on day 3 maybe they will have formal night then. Would really like to watch Super Bowl in something a little more appropriate for football watching:). I see you are also from Michigan maybe the Lions will be playing:rolleyes:. Come over to the roll call and check in with all of us. Sam & Soph Posted July 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted July 28, 2009 Sorry for the late reply but my DH & I are gutting and rebuilding a kitchen for our neice. We also thought the same as you about formal night. We did have reservations for Chops but changed it to Monday night. I enjoy watching football with my DH and looking forward to the game and rooting for the record setting Lions:o. We live in Allen Park and bow are heads when we pass the practice field. I still would love to hear from people who have been on a RCCL cruise at Superbowl time. Sam & Soph

Come over to the Royal Caribbean Roll Call forum and join our group for our cruise. It's a great way to meet & chat with others. RCCL puts on a meet & mingle but you will need to register for it. You can click on the link here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showt...831695&page=12 or access it from the page of boards. Hope to see you there. tjmanzer Posted August 1, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2009 Hubby and I were on a cruise during Superbowl before and I don't recall any super fanfare over it strangely enough. I remember a lot more people than usual in the sports bar watching the game, but other than that nothing major.
Sam & Soph Posted August 2, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Does anyone know what the sports bar would be called a RCCL ship? Last RCCL cruise I was on was Enchantment and that was with our office of mostley women. Sam & Soph
