Acapulco-Horseback Riding??

will be there in dec and would LOVE to horseback ride on the beach...any one done this and can you recommend where....THANKS MUCHLY for any info;)

There is no horseback riding option at any of the beaches in Acapulco - the center/tourist areas - that I'm aware of. You'll have to travel maybe an hour or more outside the city (travel time from the cruise ship terminal) to find it - at the beach near the Princess Resort (as indicated above) and out at Barra Vieja and in the other direction from the city at Pie de la Cuesta.

A few cruise lines offer horse back riding tours; IMHO if you really wish to do this activity, go with a ship sponsored tour.

I don't recommend doing this activity on your own, in case of an injury, you may have a very difficult time getting a hold of the ship or some one that speaks English. The people that rent this horses do not have any sort of medical assistance , insurance or safety standards.

If you still wish to arrange it on your own, make sure you have the ship's agent contact information with you.
